ROGER A. HUBBARD, PHD
FOUNDER, PRESIDENT, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Dr. Roger Hubbard provides scientific and executive leadership to Geneuity and its parent company, Molecular Pathology Laboratory Network, Inc. (MPLN).
In 1989, Dr. Hubbard founded MPLN after completing doctoral studies in biochemistry and molecular biology at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and subsequent training in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center in Tucson. He holds the academic rank of adjunct associate professor in the Department of Pathology at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, and holds the high-complexity Clinical Laboratory Director certification from the American Board of Bioanalysis.
Dr. Hubbard is a laboratory inspector within the Laboratory Accreditation Program of the College of American Pathologists. He is a clinical scientist member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists and a charter member of the Clinical Cytometry Society. Dr. Hubbard has written numerous publications in the areas of clinical flow cytometry, molecular immunology, infectious disease diagnostic testing, and molecular oncology.
NEIL B. QUIGLEY, PHD, HCLD(ABB)
VICE PRESIDENT – GENEUITY
Dr. Neil Quigley directs all research services for Geneuity and is responsible for new test development and clinical trials. Dr. Quigley has more than 20 years of molecular genetics research experience, is board certified in molecular diagnostics by the American Board of Bioanalysis, is licensed by the State of Tennessee as a clinical laboratory director in molecular diagnostics, and is a member of the American Society for Microbiology and the Association for Molecular Pathology.
Before joining Geneuity’s parent company, Dr. Quigley was a research assistant professor of microbiology at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and director of the UT Molecular Biology Resource Facility. Dr. Quigley received his doctoral degree from the University of Auckland in New Zealand and completed post-doctoral training in Australia and at Washington State University.
